"I have four horses ranging in age from 3 yrs to 25 yrs old. They have all been taking the Aloe Vera Gel for about 18months now, they actually drink it straight out of a scoop.

Two of them like the straight Gel, one has to have it mixed with the Berry Nectar and one will only contemplate the Berry Nectar! So that shows that horses have different taste buds too. If you mixed it with their feed I think they would all have the Gel.

I have noticed that it affects their whole well being from their coats to their feet and everything in between. All last winter they wintered out with only haylage and Aloe Vera and I had no problems with them.

In the summer they have about 60mls each a day, which I up to 120mls in the winter, if they have any problems I up it again to 240mls, which I think is essential. For instance when the 3 yr old was 2 she attempted to jump an iron gate from a stand still and got caught up in it. She was extremely shocked and battered and bruised, and had some nasty cuts, although nothing that required stitching.

I immediately put her onto 240mls of Gel a day and sprayed all the cuts with Vet Spray, I couldn't get near enough to her to use the Gelly. I only did this for two days because she wouldn't let me after that but the wounds healed cleanly without any infection or scarring."
