About Me

Amy has been riding for over 15 years and in this time has handled, ridden and competed a variety of different horses at various stables throughout the country. Amy has always had a passion for animals and their welfare and has always wanted to work with them, particularly horses.

This led to Amy taking a BSc (Hons) Equine Science at the University of Lincoln. During her time at University, Amy’s dissertation - The Effect of Antioxidants on Exercising Horses - was sponsored by Dodson & Horrell and due to its findings was used as a pilot study for the company to carry out further research on their QLC antioxidant product.

Amy went on to train for the Postgraduate Diploma in McTimoney-Corley Animal Manipulation from the Oxfordshire College of Equine Physical Therapy. Throughout this period Amy provided Equine Manipulation treatment for the charity, Bransby Home of Rest for Horses in Lincolnshire which has over 270 horses in its care. Amy is now a member of the AMCST (Association of McTimoney-Corley Spinal Therapists).
